American goldfinches are easily found in fields, woodlands, and gardens across North America. They migrate to warmer places for food supply during spring and autumn.
Also, goldfinches are agile granivorous, and they can easily grip the thin stem and remove the seeds from seed heads.
Surprise me! A goldfinch visited my backyard a few days ago. This is my first time seeing a goldfinch in my backyard. It must be attracted to the blooming garden cosmos here.
